Beth's extensive career in mental health care began at the Behavioral Health Center (BHC), a crisis mental health institute in Idaho Falls connected with Eastern Idaho Medical Center Hospital. There, she played a crucial role in running group sessions, working closely with families, and providing one-on-one care to children in crisis, many of whom had attempted suicide. Recognizing the unsafe environments these children faced, Beth helped facilitate their healing and advocated for them to get the necessary care and support. Her passion for helping children and families led her to the Madison School District's mental health unit, where she worked aiding youngsters facing mental health challenges. Through skills training, family coordination, and personalized care, she made a significant impact on their well-being. Beth's experience extends to counseling work at Tueller Counseling, where she provided therapy to children and families in various settings. Additionally, her leadership role in as a licensed administrator for an assisted living centers. Today, Beth serves as a valued member of Family Services and Ostermiller Counseling, specializing in trauma and abuse therapy for children and youth. Her expertise in play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) ensures comprehensive care for her clients, fostering healing and growth. Ryan Laird is the chief operating officer, currently managing a company with approximately eight hundred employees. His main role is ensuring the intellectually disabled community both adults and children are advocated for and their needs are met to the best of his ability. Ryan is an individual that is compassionate and always advocates for those who need extra help, a dedicated community leader, and a champion for education through his involvement in the school board and other various community programs. Ryan was raised in the small town of Monteview, Idaho where he learned hard work, and a sense of empathy and compassion from an early age. Growing up in such an environment, he developed a deep-seated desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. It was during these formative years Ryan discovered his passion for fostering children and supporting them in their journeys towards brighter futures. Driven by his desire for change Ryan embarked on a journey of fostering children, providing them with a safe and loving home environment where they could thrive and flourish. Another great impact Ryan has made in the community is that he currently serves and has served for two years on the Bonneville County, Idaho board of guardians, where he assists in helping intellectually disabled adults make important life decisions. Recognizing the importance of community support Ryan served as a trustee on the Madison District #321 school board for eight years. Ryan actively engaged with local organizations and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable individuals. Whether through advocating for policy changes, overseeing large budgets, or working to ensure school safety, Ryan has worked tirelessly to foster a sense of belonging, empowerment, and safety within the community. Believing that education is a cornerstone of empowerment and opportunity, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management, as well as a Master of Business in Health Care Management from Western Governors University. In addition to practicing law full-time, Dan teaches law part-time as an adjunct faculty member at Brigham Young University-Idaho. In his personal life, Dan has been married for over 20 years. As the eldest sibling in a household that included a special needs sister, Stephanie quickly assumed a caregiving role, demonstrating maturity and kindness beyond her years. This experience instilled in her a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with special needs and ignited a passion for advocating on their behalf. Later on, Stephanie became a foster parent, opening up her heart and home to children in need. She provided them with love, stability, and guidance, becoming a source of strength and support for every child entrusted to her care. Nicole Lybbert is a doctorally-prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) in Idaho, providing psychotherapy and medication management across the lifespan. She completed her education through University of Utah, and has interned and worked in mental health in Southeast Idaho. In preparation for this program she earned bachelor's degrees in nursing and exercise physiology. She has additional training in treating trauma, including EMDR. Prior to pursuing her doctorate she worked as a nurse, primarily in medical/surgical and ICU, but also spent time in NICU and ER settings. She was an adjunct professor at a local university for 7 years. Throughout all these experiences she has worked with a variety of patient populations and backgrounds. She has worked to advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations, especially children in foster care. Providing compassionate patient-centered care to address patient concerns and enhance quality of life is her top priority. She works to provide a safe, trauma-informed, judgement-free space to collaborate, explore concerns, find support, and heal.
